According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on August 24, 2026, at approximately 6:55 AM, patrol responded to a one car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bones Road and Bryant Road in the Town of Annsville The operator, Nolan Fenske, 22, of Taberg, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck southbound on Bones Road when he failed to maintain his lane and struck a utility pole, causing multiple utility wires to come down across the roadway. Fenske sustained no injuries and was issued traffic tickets. The roadway was closed for several hours while the hazard was addressed. Bones Road has since been reopened.
