According to the Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, a woman was arrested in the Town of Marcy after being located at a residence, in violation of an order of protection.

On August 29th, 2026, the Oneida County 911 Center received a call for service regarding a possible medical event. During the call, the caller requested to cancel, however due to policy Deputies were dispatched to the residence.

Ultimately, it was learned that there was an active order of protection in place prohibiting the suspect from being at the residence. As a result, Christine C. Williams, age 33, was arrested for violating the order of protection. Williams was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd, a Class A misdemeanor, Criminal Contempt 1st, a Class E felony, and Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E felony.

Williams was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building, processed, and turned over to the Oneida County Correctional Facility. Williams was arraigned and bail was set at the amount of $7,500 cash. Williams is due in the Town of Marcy court at a later date.
