According to the Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, a Town of Camden man was arrested after a domestic incident.

On August 23rd, 2026, Road Patrol Deputies responded to a call for service regarding an order of protection violation. During the investigation, Deputies learned that the subject of an active stay away order of protection had violated the order by continuing to reside with the protected party. At that time, Deputies began looking for the suspect. Despite continuing efforts, he was not able to be located.

On August 26th, 2026, another call for service was received regarding the suspect being back at the protected party's residence. At the conclusion of that call, members of the New York State Police arrested the suspect on additional charges related to the violation of the order of protection. After being processed by the State Police, the suspect was turned over to the Oneida County Sheriff's to be processed on the pending charges.

Ultimately, the suspect, Travis D. Metott, 33, was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E Felony, Criminal Contempt 1st, a Class E felony, and Criminal Contempt 2nd, a Class A Misdemeanor,

After booking, Metott was turned over to the Oneida County Jail to await arraignment on both sets of charges. Metott was arraigned and held on $10,000 cash bail. Metott is due back in Town of Florence Court at a later date.
