According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O'Meara, who is the Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Utica woman has been arrested for having sexual contact with an underage male child. The investigation began September 05, 2026. The case was assigned to Oneida County Sheriff’s, Investigator Dillenbeck, who is assigned to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center. Investigator Dillenbeck’s Investigation found that Destiny Crishom, age 38, had sexual contact with a child less than 13 years old. On September 17, 2026, Crishom was located in the City of Utica by Investigator Dillenbeck and New York State Police Investigator Hennessey and subsequently arrested. Crishom was arraigned on the charges of Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor. After the arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court, Crishom was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. Services have been offered to the victim by the Child Advocacy Center, and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the child.
