According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, On January 25th, 2025 at 4:55 P.M., Deputies were dispatched to a one car property damage accident that occurred on State Route 20 in the Town of Bridgewater, which led to the arrest of 63 year old Dale Davis of Edmeston, NY for Aggravated DWI and Obstructing Emergency Medical Services, as well as other traffic offenses.
Upon arrival, Deputies were assisted by Bridgewater Fire Department and Bridgewater Ambulance personnel. While Dale was being extracted from his 2015 Toyota Tundra, it was alleged he struck a female EMT in the face while she was attempting to perform her duties. Deputies determined on scene that Dale was operating while intoxicated by alcohol at the time he lost control of his pickup and rolled down an embankment, causing him to be pinned beneath the steering wheel. Dale was arraigned on his charges at the Oneida County Law Enforcement Building as part of Centralized Arraignment and released with a future court date. The E.M.T. struck by Dale declined medical services for her minor injury to her face.
