According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol; On March, 24th 2025, at approximately 9:06 A.M., Road Patrol Deputies responded to a reported two car motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries on State Route 365, near Prospect Road, in the Town of Trenton.

While Road Patrol Deputies conducted their investigation into the crash, it was determined Alisha Burns, (31) of Remsen, was operating a 2006 Toyota Carola, easterly, on State Route 365 when Alisha lost control of her vehicle due to the slushy road conditions and black ice on the road. Alisha's vehicle spun out of control entering the westbound lane hitting a 2017 Subaru Outback traveling westerly, being operated by Sarah Gaasch, (41) of Remsen. The two Juveniles were transported to Wynn Hospital by Kunkel Ambulance, Alisha Burns was transported to Upstate Hospital by mercy flight, and Sarah Gaasch was transported by Boonville Ambulance to Wynn Hospital for further evaluation. At this time all the parties involved injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police, Barneveld Volunteer Fire Department, Remsen Volunteer Fire Department, Mercy Flight, Star Ambulance, Kunkel Ambulance, and Boonville Ambulance.
