UPDATE:

According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol a passenger from the Route 8 MVA that occurred on March 8th, 2025 has died. Koudi Bashir, 26 of Utica has died while at SUNY Upstate Hospital in Syracuse from his injuries he sustained in the crash.
