An exciting day at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office as our first group of former NYS DOCCS Officers started working with us. Each of the five Correction Officers that started today were welcomed by Sheriff Rob Maciol, County Executive Anthony Picente, Undersheriff Joe Lisi, Chief Deputy Kinderman, and Local 1249 President Luis Roman as they resume their corrections career here at the Sheriff’s Office.

Over the next several days and weeks, we look forward to welcoming many more officers as they are in the final steps of transitioning over to our Sheriff’s Office.
