According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol Road Patrol deputies stopped a burglary in progress at a business on Horatio Street in the Town of Deerfield. Around 9:30 PM Deputies were called to an alarm on Horatio Street, when they arrived on scene an employee who was already on scene was able to point law enforcement in the direction of the suspect. The suspect, Darin Gatson,59 of Rochester was arrested in the parking lot of another business in the area. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit and charged Gatson with Burglary 3rd, a class D Felony. Gatson was transported to the LEB where he was processed and sent to OCJ to await CAP Court for arraignment. Gatson is currently on NYS Parole.
