According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, a Grand Island NY man was arrested on July 14th, 2026, following a criminal mischief investigation. On August 3rd, 2025, members of the Road Patrol Division responded to the North Shore Golf Club, located in the Town of Vienna, regarding a criminal mischief complaint. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that it appeared as if someone drove onto the golf course on either a four-wheeler or UTV and caused damage to the greens.

The case was turned over to members of the Criminal Investigations Unit. As a result, Daniel M. Tyson (22) of Grand Island NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (D Felony). Tyson was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and turned over to the Oneida County Correctional Facility for Centralized Arraignment.
