According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an Industrial Accident in the City of Rome. On September 3, 2026, just before 7:30 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies and personnel from Rome Fire Department, and AmCare Ambulance responded to Indium Corp, located at 5836 Success Dr for a report industrial accident. Upon investigation there was a chemical reaction which caused minor injuries to two employees. Both employees were transported to Wynn Hospital via AmCare Ambulance for non life threatening injuries.
