According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on…
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 09/30/26 around 10:41 AM, Patrol Deputies assigned to the Waterville Field Office conducted a traffic stop on State Route 8 in the Town of Bridgewater. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jeffery F. Battisti, of the Town of Brookfield. During the investigation of the traffic stop, it was discovered that Battisti was in possession of Fentanyl.
Battisti was arrested and charged by Patrol and the Oneida County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit with the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a Misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (weight), a class C FelonyCriminal Possession of a Controlled substance 3rd (intent to sell), a class B FelonyCriminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd , a MisdemeanorVTL Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd , a Misdemeanor VTL Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd , a Misdemeanor VTL Failure to Display Registration Sticker, Infraction Battisti was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building where he was processed. After processing, Battisti was transported to the Oneida County Jail where he was held pending an arraignment in CAP Court.
